Exhibition of Artwork at our booth at Synchronicity Festival on August 20th

I did get a late start in advertising this concept to the Sunshine Coast in time for Synchronicity so have not received any submissions. Next year I am going to give this project a 3 month berth.

In order to use the Papergirl name I have to show the work that I receive. I had not organized a show because I have not had any submissions but several are now on their way.

This is whadI'mgonnado....  I WOULD STILL LOVE YOUR SUBMISSION!  I will show all artwork at our booth on a clothes line at Synchronicity on Saturday the 20th then I have a volunteer to distribute the art by bike on the Sunday.

So, all is cool. If you want to bring your work down we will have a white tent at the end of a row with a papergirls sign. (I will have ceramics and our bike trailers in the tent). You are welcome to drop artwork off at my home as well if you are not going to Synchronicity.

PAPERGIRL Sunshine Coast - Art + Bike Event Information

PAPERGIRL SUNSHINE COAST 2011 - #1

INFORMATION

WHAT:
Originating in Berlin, Papergirl is a non-commercial art project that combines submitted art with distribution by bike to random passers-by. In the style of American paper-boys, rolled art pieces will be randomly distributed by bicycle to the public at the Synchronicity Event and other Sunshine Coast locations on Saturday August 20, 2011!
Submit art + enjoy exhibit > deliver art by bike to random passers-by = fun!

Deer Crossing the Art Farm is pleased to announce the expansion of the annual Synchronicity Festival.

On August 20 & 21, 2011 at the lush Shirley Macey Park in Gibsons, the Art Farm will host an extraordinary event featuring the diversity of progressive and innovative people that live and work among us:  farmers, artists, artisans, change-makers and social entrepreneurs.

This 2-day carnival-like event will feature live music, an outdoor circus, an artisan and farmers market, children’s tent, art installations, food and wine, and info booths for innovative organizations and businesses.
“Imagine all the creativity and innovation we see in our neighborhoods, farms, and towns packed into Shirley Macey Park for two days in the height of summer,” says artistic director Chad Hershler, “That’s Synchronicity.”
